Govinda To Be Questioned In Rs 1000 Crore Online Ponzi Scam Case! Officials Want To Understand Actor’s Connection To The Company-REPORTS
Bollywood actor Govinda appears to have landed himself in trouble and for the affiliations with a company and its endorsements. Soon he will be questioned by the Odisha Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for his alleged connection to the Rs 1000 crore online ponzi scam. Govinda is being probed as he reportedly endorsed the company which has found itself guilty of running the pan-India scam. 

A Free Press Journal report suggests that a company named Solar Techno Alliance, which had a presence in several countries across the globe operated an online Ponzi scheme under the pretence of cryptocurrency investment. It is being reported to have collected deposits without authorization for over 2 lakh people across the country from the Reserve Bank of India and reportedly raised a whopping Rs 1000 crore. Another Times of India report quoted the EOW authorities stating that at present Govinda is neither a suspect nor an accused. He will be merely questioned owing to his endorsement of STA in a few videos and the officials will try to uncover a few more clues about the scam 

He will only be questioned because he had endorsed STA in a few videos, and the officials will try to find more clues about the scam from his statement.

As per the reports, Govinda even attended a mega event hosted by the STA in July this year and as a result, a team of Odisha EOW will soon reach Mumbai to question the actor regarding his association with the company. The officials added that if Govinda's role in the case is only limited to being an endorser of the company as per a valid agreement, then he will be made a witness in the case.

However, amid the troubles brewing for Govinda, the actor is still yet to issue an official statement about his involvement in the case.
